about

I’m a Christian sculptor, painter, and creative writer born in Santa Fe and settled in San Diego.

My work in both writing and art seeks to reveal different perspectives by intersecting old ideas with new forms. I often draw my subjects from the richness of Christian history and tradition, and enjoy imagining them in alternative aesthetic contexts.

My current interests include book arts, fiber arts, Biblical womanhood, domesticity, paratextual theory, nuclear technology, the Cold War, and American Christianity.

When I’m not writing or creating art, you can find me spinning fiber with a drop spindle, sewing vintage dresses, skiing local mountains, admiring William Blake and Albrecht Dürer, re-reading The Silmarillion, or rummaging through the SoCal thrifting scene.
